60% by August 31st

July is here, and we’re kicking off a new goal–to be at 60% of our monthly support goal by August 31st! Why this goal?  It’s simple; in order to go to language school in Quebec this January our ministry needs to be 100% funded by the end of the year.  If we aren’t at 60% by the end of August, the it is unlikely we will be finished by the end of December.  If we don’t make the January semester, then we’ll have to delay language school another nine months until September 2012.  This means we will be delaying our work on the field.  Our ultimate goal is to get to Africa as soon as possible, so we can begin serving God there and sharing Christ with people.

The need for an IT Specialist family in MAF’s east Democratic Republic of Congo program is growing rapidly, and we can’t wait to take part in the work God is doing over there!  However, our team still needs more ministry partners, and we are seeking nearly $950 in new monthly support during July and August.

Will you help us with this goal, and be part of what God is doing in DRC?

If so, please visit our Partnership page for information on how to start giving!

Progress on goal since July 1st:  $953 of $950…God is good!

Please keep the gifts coming!  This 60% mark is a minimum requirement.  MAF needs to see the potential to reach 100% by the end of the year if they are going to allow ministry to continue, and every dollar takes us one step closer.  Thanks for giving!
